Dr. Michael Goldmann is a life-long Nanuet resident. He was raised here, graduated from Nanuet High School, and currently lives here with his wife Elizabeth, daughter Shira, son Noah, 2 crazy cats:  Kipper and Spot, and a 5 foot long black Mexican milkwell snake. Growing up in Nanuet, Dr. Goldmann took his pets to the Nanuet Animal Hospital. In 2003 he had the opportunity to buy the practice. Since then he has been updating and enhancing the practice in every way.

When Dr. Goldmann is not at the hospital, you can find him with his family enjoying nature and camping. Another favorite past time is photography, either taking personal photos or taking pictures of our patients. He even was a professional newspaper photographer in the past.  Dr. Goldmann is an avid Ultimate Frisbee player and plays in a number of local leagues.  He also enjoys giving back and getting involved with the community. Dr. Goldmann sponsors a Nanuet Little League team, gives presentations to students at area schools, works to mentor students in BOCES interested in the veterinary field, gives office tours for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and donates time, food and money to the Hi-Tor Animal Shelter.

Dr. Margaux TillinghastDr. Margaux Tillinghast

Dr. Margaux Tillinghast was raised in Greenwich, CT where her love of animals began early in life. Growing up, she volunteered at local aquariums, small animal clinics, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and farms. She received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Iowa State University. While at school, she was lucky to participate in study abroad programs, taking courses including wildlife immobilization in South Africa, elephant and zoo medicine in Thailand, and public health and shelter medicine in Jordan.

Upon graduation, she worked at an equine sports medicine practice treating race and show horses in the New York and New Jersey area. In 2016, she joined a small animal veterinary hospital.

Dr. Tillinghast’s interests in veterinary medicine include cardiology, orthopedics, surgery, and exotics. Given her passion for horses, she started an equine ambulatory practice based in Orange County to treat horses and other farm animals.  Outside of work, she enjoys trail riding and training her horse, Twister, traveling, and spending time with her other pets. She has a Green Cheek conure, a cockatiel, a Moluccan cockatoo, and a rescue cat named Onyx.
